Hawaii: Day 3

PEARL HARBOR:
I am not a history buff, but I really enjoy learning about history and especially our Nation's history. We learned that William's grandfather Egan was on the Nevada when it was bombed, but luckily was not where he was suppose to be and lived. Also one of my grandfather's friends had gone to church that morning and escaped death aboard one of the ships as well. Our thoughts are with the men and women who risked their lives to protect our country from the Japan's attacks so long ago and those still fighting to stand for freedom.

 My mom being silly.

Don't knock the audio tours. I learned so much. Thanks to Aunt Sherry for holding EP so I could actually focuss and not have them ripped off my head.

Oil is still leaking from the Arizona. Many of the members of the crew that survived have requested to be placed in the water with their shipmates when they do. This was so incredible to me the loyality that they felt towards each other and our country.
Speaking of loyalty. My grandparents define the word.

After a long day- EP gives Dada a lift with her smooches. She's the best.
