Girlfriend is finally sleeping through the night. Sleep training is a little tougher in a studio apartment with neighbors a few feet away... but we are working towards sleep full nights!
You would think with all the running around she does all the time that she would be too worn out to not sleep all night. I can not believe she has been walking for 4 months already. She literally runs everywhere.
We headed down south to celebrate EP's first birthday. It was great to be with family.
EP loved her party. Katie designed two amazing cakes. Mawmaw planned a BBQ dinner from Leatha's. And my Mom planned a party that was perfect. We sat in her backyard filled with lanterns and decor (of course) and enjoyed watching EP run around.
No trip is complete without a trip to the farm with Mimi and Grandaddy.
EP loves the animals! And her Grandparents.
I love seeing my little brother. He is so funny and fun to spend time with! Can't wait to see you again!!
I love seeing EP with her grandparents and great parents. It really is the sweetest sight. I don't have many pictures from this weekend on my camera, but it was great to spend time with everyone and celebrate with this little girl.
The only way I would ever pay 30 bucks for a manicure is when it topped
Casey's to do list before leaving the city.
Alright, I said it. Casey, one of my closest friends since moving to the city, is leaving. They are moving to London and I couldn't be more devastated. I am terribly excited for her, but selfishly, I am so sad. To drown out my sorrows we got pampered at Essie's first and only salon.
Casey and I both chose "foot loose" and I must admit I bought it after as I was so proud of myself for trying something outside my comfort zone.
It was a fun experience with the girls and just sooo many colors to choose from!
This has got to be the coolest event to go to in the city. I was so giddy just walking around the grounds much less during the match. We got to see Addy Roddick play before retirement which made it extra special. I can not believe we haven't done this before and can't wait for next year!!
To my great surprised we swung a trip to the Hamptons with Casey, Todd, and Harps.
I love these three.
We hit up the beach. Sag store for lunch. Picnic while watching planes take off. BridgeHampton Main Street. Tennis tourney at my employers beach house. Then lots and lots of swimming.
Glad I didn't know they were moving when we did all of this because I would have been sad instead of pure joy spending time with our buds.
What a great day... have to add that after the self timer on my camera took this photo I left it sitting on the court and didn't remember it until we got home. I laid in agony all night knowing that it was 100% chance of thunderstorms all night and my camera (and friend) was gone forever.
I eventually got the camera back. After being in the pouring rain for at least 6 hours it still works!!
And so happy to have these photos to document such a great day.
