Yoga.
A sweet girl in our ward has started teaching Yoga for FREE twice a week and I have been going and falling in love with yoga. Its amazing. It is not like this picture, but the last 5 minutes when you meditate I really feel like this is me- out in the middle of no where by the ocean just breathing. Thank you Rebecca Davenport for introducing me to this great form of exercise. I feel so great the next day, but a little sore. And thanks Will for babysitting so my girlfriends can come with!

Passion
I have been tutoring a darling girl in our ward the past few weeks- She is so bright, but needs a little help with her 4th Grade math skills. New York schools are so competitive- its really sickening to me actually how focussed they are on state testing and not just learning and having fun! I feel so rewarded when I get to teach, even just once a week. One day I will be a teacher and have my own class and teach 30 kids at a time the joy that learning can bring to them. Just not yet.

We Heart Central Park
We had to get out of the house to enjoy the city. We had a busy study weekend for our BYU classes and escaped to Central Park. We discovered Belvedere Castle today. It is AWESOME. I felt like a princess in the castle towers waiting for my prince to come- and well... take my picture. The 3rd picture is for Esther to prove how long my hair is. So there.

Nursery
What is nursery?- The purpose of the nursery class is to help children learn the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and live it. The nursery class should help the children increase their understanding of and love for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, have positive experiences in a Church setting, and grow in feelings of self-worth.
We LOVE our calling. We want to be there forever. This week our sunbeams left nursery and we were heartbroken. I thought Will was going to cry. We have a lot of new sweet little nursery kids coming in the next few weeks that we are very excited about.
Our favorite part- When we read or tell a story and literally 10 children try to sit in your lap at once. Fulfilling a request to make a Jaguar our of play dough. Hearing the children beg to say the opening and closing prayers for the lesson (We usually say about 4 because none of us can turn them down when they ask to pray). We just plain LOVE getting to know the sweet children of our ward and their families. Does it make us a little baby hungry? Yes. But we are not letting it get to us yet.
Moral of this post. Send the word- The Egans do not want to be released. Ever. :)
(Note: Obviously we would never argue over this point and would accept any calling or release as it came- My feelings are dramatize for the effect of this post.)

A new Decade started off Right
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Risk:The Game of World Domination
This game gets pretty heated between Christian, Mr. Bill, William, and Me.
Looks like Will is ready to conquer France and Christian somewhere in Russia by the looks of their attire. Christian won, but I was second. Bill and Will get too greedy to fast and I just play safe. This is not a game for the weak.
The new year was brought in with family and friends and homemade eclairs. Perfect way to start the new decade. Thanks Christian for always hanging out with us on New Years Eve. I hope everyone is ready for the new year.
I can't wait to get going. Its going to be the best year yet for us.
