We are happy its Friday around here. 

First Steps Proof!

First STEPS!!

Yesterday EP took A step. Maybe two towards a dog at the park, but today she took about 7 steps at our ward picnic! She must like a crowd because when she decided to stand she was also at a picnic with lots of friends. We are so proud of her! ... but a little nervous about what this means.

Happy Birthday Casey!

Last weekend we threw together a little bday bbq for Casey. 

Complete with Dickson's hot dogs, Jdawgs sauce, Tomato and Basil Chips, Dr. Brown's Cream Soda and Egan's Triple Chocolate Cake.  

This girl is the best. 

We moved to NYC around the same time and explored the city together quite a bit. 

Then had our girls with in months of each other.

Happy First Father's Day!

Dear Dada,
I love you so much already and we are just getting started together. When you wake up in the mornings you sing a silly song that makes me happy too. "Get up! Get up! Its time to get up!" Then I watch you intently as you get ready for work. I love when you brush your teeth and put on your socks the most. Then I give you a bug kiss and hug good bye as we walk you to the elevator and I send you off with a wave. Mama and I wait for your call so I can smile and giggle while I listen to you talk to me over the phone and I look around the room trying to find you.
I kick my legs and bounce my whole body when I see you walking towards me to pick me up from Mama at work. Then we have our dada/ daughter time together. We go on walks to the dog parks. eat treats (don't tell mama). Play in the park. And talk to each other.
When Mama comes home we spend time together reading books and getting ready for bed. I love how you can't resist tickling me. We love playing ball together too.
When I am sad you know just what to do to take my mind off of being sad and I start to laugh.
Thanks for being the best Dada for me.

Happy Birthday William James!

Within a day of returning from Hawaii we hopped on a train (thanks to my generous boss) and headed to DC for William's bday and Father's day. Because, well, you have to golf on your birthday. Right?

I hope this year is full of more fun family experiences together and great oppertunities for growth.

 When I saw this sign I got chills. Will said to me, "I am so glad I graduated from BYU" Its the best.

 Mike T. was so happy to get his hands on a Japanese Book of Mormon. 

 William was such a champ and would take EP for walks to help her fall asleep on the go.

 The Polynisian Cultural Center was so awesome. 

We were only there for a short time and got to do so many fun activities.
