First swim!

Baby's first snow was celebrated by taking a swim! She had been sick all week so we decided a warm pool sounded better than a cold snowy day. William and I both love the water so it was only right that she does too! She was totally intrigued. Just looking at the pool was mesmerizing to her. I am so excited to take her many many more times!!

Grandma and Grandpa brought me an excersaucer because I love to stand so much- 

I LOVES IT!  Thank you!

I can grab my toes and rock back and forth.

I can make funny noises with my lips.

And I LOVE my rattles (thanks Lizzie!) and toys. I can hold on to them and shake them to entertain myself. 

And Mommy and Daddy. 

No fun being sick.

Having a sick baby is the pits. I cried more this week in frustration than the entire 4 months. She was so pitiful. Eventually I got sick as well- that was even more emotional because I felt so terrible and imagining that we had the same things I couldn't stand thinking she felt as bad as I did. Thankfully EP is feeling better and getting back to normal. Although she has still lost her high pitched squealing voice and that's pretty funny to listen to her try to make noises silently.  

I can't get enough of these toes. They always tend to find their way out of the swaddle or blanket.

 

 My new best friend. Nosefrida. Don't hate. Just try it. Gets so much more than the normal aspirator. And no, it is not possible for anything to get into your mouth. Just get one. Your baby will thank you. I have heard that the Windi is also awesome.

Happy Four Month Birthday EP! 

I heart bathtime.

Home.

 This is our home. I still giggle to think about it. I miss our old 4 floor walk up in the village. 

But for our new family. This place is a great home.

We are near the base of the Brooklyn Bridge and close to lots of friends. 

Baby is happy here. So we are too.

This city even makes pollution look beautiful.

Dear Mawmaw and Papaw, 

Thank you for my warm Patagonia coat. I love being warm on the cold and windy New York days.

PBR

Tonight we had a the pleasure of attending the Professional Bull Riding Event at MSG with the Checketts. It was awesome! Emma was enthralled and I got so nervous every time the riders jumped off their bulls. It was so intense. And so much fun! Thanks Checketts for having us!! 

After the PBR we headed down to the Village to enjoy our old neighborhood and show EP around. 

Nothing like a fancy sports car and a driver that doesn't know how to drive it stick. 

Great night in this fabulous city.

My good friend Mary Martha is having twin boys soon so we decided to celebrate! MM is from Louisiana so we decided to do it Southern Style.
