Lets go BIG BLUE

Giants defeated the Patriots in this year's Super Bowl. To celebrate good ole New York threw a big parade. I must say they need some help with their floats, but it was exciting madness to walk through. Emma Perry had no idea what was going on- but she knew she loved the crowd. We headed to Leah's to watch the remnants of the parade from a block over and 17 floors high.

EP's first play date!

 

Jay and Emma Perry were born just a month a part. It was so fun having them down for our first of many play dates! They were so sweet just staring and reaching for each other. 

It was so cute to watch.

Wubba Nub

We love our Wubba Nub!

Emma has learned to snatch her binky out of her mouth so at least with this little jewel she is still happy even when she can't get it back in. Thanks Aunt KK for the awesome toy.

4 Months

4 Months and counting. 

11 pounds. 25 inches. 

She's a tall and slender little miss. 

Only in the 4th percentile for weight. Makes me feel like a failure. Thats my most important job, right? I've got some work to do this month.

But, look at those BIG feet! They are 3 1/2 inches long! I'm obsessed with her feet. 

And every other part. We are just thankful for the past 4 months getting to watch Emma Perry grow and explore her world. 

Drooling Diva

I just love the headbands lent to us from Jenna. I put them on her all the time and just smile. Tonight we practiced sitting up- It was floppy, but really crazy that she is already so strong and almost there. She is growing up too fast. I know everyone always says that, but when its your own baby its just different. 

My good friend Mary Martha had her twin boys yesterday and I'm amazed how long ago it seems I was at the hospital having EP. I am so happy for the Checkett family and that all 3 are doing well. Can't wait for us to meet our new little friends!!

Headed out today for a walk before work- The city is getting ready to celebrate the Giants victory over the Patriots in the Super Bowl and its a mad house!! We have been listening to the chants and NY theme music from our 21st floor apartment all morning. Its insane. Another reason to love NYC.
